He believes in cultural diversity and inclusion, scientific research, mind-body-spirit integral work, coaching & mentoring, health humanities, based on his own insights as well as learnings and experiences.

Naturally, his clinical work, teaching and leadership practice is an interesting amalgamation of diverse and integrative aspects, modern neuroscience, emotional intelligence, arts and spiritual wisdom, including designing healing spaces personal and collective well-being and transformative journeys of teams and individuals'.

His medical career spans 25 years of working in NHS in the UK but he pursued lifelong learning, teaching and leading, looking through multicultural and multidimensional lenses and lived experiences with patients and life's challenges.

Amit is employed as the Lead Clinician and Consultant in a Specialist Inpatient Adolescent Unit in North London; he is also the Medical CAMHS Lead in Barnet and Crisis Pathway Lead of the division. His team has been awarded the Best team of the year 2021.

He was an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London and has been extensively involved in teaching and training, including from Cambridge, Oxford and UCL University. He also trains and supervises trainees from other professional disciplines,.

He was also involved in various Research including Cognitive Psychopharmacology and National Morbidity Survey at the Prestigious Institute of Psychiatry , The Maudsley AT KINGS College London
