  • Reducing stigma -mental health and social issues including disabilities.
  • Awareness of Self & Society across cultures, including Emotional (EI), Social, Cultural (CI) and Spiritual (SI) dimensions of self.

Well-Being:

Approach / Process:

Well-Being projects are structured, highly experiential, interactive, practical skill-based and holistic programmes combining lectures, workshops, retreats, seminars within a shared, facilitative, and containing space. They will incorporate interdisciplinary ideas.

This will combine:

  • Cutting edge Psychology: eg positive psychology, cognitive and social psychology, emotional intelligence, mentalisation, narrative work, self-compassion, systemic and other models.
  • Evidence based contemplative & complimentary practices (eg Mindfulness & other meditations, Yoga, Embodied practices, breathing exercises)
  • Practical philosophy- eg: western philosophical approaches -Stoicism, Socratic dialogues etc and insights from eastern traditions-Vedantic, Taoism etc
  • Modern Neuroscience & Neurobiology and integral medicine.
  • Other disciplines- poetry, reflective writing, storytelling, theatre, arts, films, movement, theatre etc.

Excellence:

Excellence Programmes AIMS

The highly structured Excellence programmes with allow participants to learn through interactions, shared experiences, lectures, Socratic dialogues and collaborative enquiry, mindful practices, meditations, movements, embodied practices, films, reflective writing, storytelling, poetry, theatre, role play and other methods. The workshops/retreats will also include cultivation of well-being to achieve a sustained sense of happiness and positivity in life.

AIMS:

A) Personal Mastery:

To build inner resources, emotional intelligence and confidence, grow insight into strength and weaknesses. Develop positive life skills and attributes to become balanced, well-rounded individuals and ' a doctor to themselves'. To support navigating life's transitions and growth processes and to maximise full human potential. Establishing or deepening the knowledge about the science and practices of Mindfulness Enhancing Cultural (CQ), Emotional (EQ) and Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) in relation to the leadership practices. Be more effective in leading and engaging others, work with authenticity and aligned with deep innermost values and transform services Developing creative solutions in complex, ambiguous or uncertain situations, create and sustain the culture. Highly interactive, experiential and innovative workshops (half day/ one day/ two days) creates and and fosters an understanding of Compassionate healthcare systems with better patient outcomes through cultivating Intelligent Kindness that promotes therapeutic alliance and trust which is the key to safe, high quality, high performing, innovative, integrated, value-based, person-centred healthcare.

The workshops facilitate dialogues between individuals, leaders and teams on ways to develop healthy team work and staff support through a variety of evidenced based practices, injecting human focus in the system and skilful self-team-organisational management, with inspiring values and a living- learning environment.
